Sherry Kinison's artistic talents can be traced back to her gospel music-laden childhood. Pastors of a church in Rockford, Illinois, her parents, James and Virginia McFaddin, created an atmosphere filled with the joyous celebration of music. Through the years, this rich influence of artistic expression culminated in the release of her debut CD, From The Heart. Each song on her CD holds a special meaning to Sherry, particularly a song written especially for her by her brother-in-law comedian Sam Kinison. Sam was Sherry’s biggest fan and their similar upbringing as preacher’s kids (PK’s) created an eternal bond that will never be forgotten.
Sherry has helped create and nurture various artistic endeavors through her involvement with the Grove Theatre in Upland, CA. From producing and hosting Broadway-caliber plays and musicals to conducting workshops for kids interested in the arts, Sherry has provided an environment of joy, caring, and love for all to relish and enjoy.
