Dale Kristien played the role of Christine Daae in Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Phantom of the Opera for a record 1700+ performances. She started performing the role on Broadway opposite the original Phantom, Michael Crawford, and they both premiered the show when it came to Los Angeles. Dale continued in the role until the show closed a record-breaking four and one-half years later.
Prior to her achievements in The Phantom of the Opera, Dale starred on Broadway opposite Donald O'Conner in Showboat. She also appeared in Camelot, first with Richard Burton, then with Richard Harris. Dale has starred in regional and local productions of such classics as Carousel, The Pirates of Penzance, The Desert Song, The Gift of the Magi, The Sound of Music, My Fair Lady, The King and I, and Jekyll and Hyde.
Dale's television credits include a two-year stint in the daytime drama Days of Our Lives, as well as appearances in Knot's Landing and Motown's 30th Anniversary Special.
Dale continues to delight audiences with her amazing vocal excellence in her own concert performances and also as a special guest star at many of Michael Crawford's concerts. You can also find Dale sailing the high seas as a featured performer on selected Crystal Cruises.
